I think the exteriors are beyond ugly, into a state of super ugly...where the vehicle has been somehow chemically or electrically induced to accept more ugly than would be possible in its normal state. They also have the best interiors of all time.

The interiors look great but they’re all cheap and creaky once you’re inside.

It feels like a Disney World ride vehicle in there.

Well for something to get to work in, it’s fine, I have a CRV that is an appliance for me. It’s reliable, useful but not what I really enjoy! I did rent a Yaris hatch one time for a couple days and they are go carts, if I didn’t like the visibility in the CRV for traffic I might get one for DD city commuter beater.

It’d be nice if the REx weren’t crippled in the US by trying to squeak in under California regulations. And if the REx were connected to the wheels through something like a power split device. And if it were used more intelligently regarding the modes in which it operates.
